Dr. Bahaa Al-Sheikh, along with students Fares Moqbel and Ibrahim Al-Lahwani from the Department of Biomedical Systems and Informatics Engineering, participated in a distinguished lecture delivered by Professor Hasan Al-Nashash from the American University of Sharjah, who is a featured speaker for IEEE EMBS Global.

The lecture was organized by the IEEE EMBS Jordan Chapter at the Genevia Hotel on December 29, 2025.

During the lecture, Dr. Al-Nashash discussed his latest research on addressing focus-related issues. He reviewed several applications used for diagnosing and treating attention distraction cases, such as diagnosis through EEG signal analysis and the use of visible light, in addition to therapeutic methods like electrical stimulation therapy and MRI-based treatment.

It is noteworthy that Professor Hasan Al-Nashash previously served as the Head of the Electronics Engineering Department at the Hijjawi Faculty for Engineering Technology.
