The IEEE branch at Hijjawi Faculty for Engineering Technology at Yarmouk University won first place in the Best Website Competition at the branch level among Jordanian universities.

More than 20 universities participated in the competition, with their websites evaluated based on several features provided to students and members.

Yarmouk University’s branch website stood out in the competition for showcasing notable achievements and activities, in addition to covering all aspects that serve both member and non-member students.

Dr. Mohammad Alzubaidi, Dean of the Hijjawi Faculty for Engineering Technology, said that the faculty has always encouraged and supported its students in voluntary creative initiatives, in line with the university’s mission. He emphasized that such awards would not have been possible without the organized and continuous efforts of the students and branch coordinators.

He added that the Hijjawi Faculty has always been, and will remain, one of the leading engineering faculties in Jordan, opening new horizons for students and empowering them for the labor market.
